Paris Saint-Germain announced on Tuesday its 23-man squad list for its upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Manchester United.
There are no relative surprises with the squad list, as PSG only ruled out four players due to injury. There is good news regarding Thilo Kehrer, as the defender was among the players who were included in the squad list.
Kehrer’s season so far has been riddled with injuries. For one, he dealt with issues with his pubalgia and adductors earlier this season. He wound up making his return to action with the team after missing seven matches due to the adductor injury. But after playing in 94 total minutes over four contests, Kehrer’s adductor issue reemerged, and he has not featured in a fixture since then.
Kehrer has now made just enough progress from his injury to be deemed ready for in-game action.
With Kehrer available to once again feature for PSG, Tuchel will now have a versatile player to count on off the bench.
