Paris Saint-Germain announced on Tuesday its 23-man squad list for the upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Manchester United. There are no relative surprises with the squad list as the club only ruled out four players due to injury. But there is good news for manager Thomas Tuchel’s side as defender Thilo Kehrer was among the players added to the squad list.
Kehrer’s season so far has been riddled by injuries. For one, he had been dealing with an issue to his pubalgia and adductors earlier this season. He wound up making his return to action with the team after missing seven games due to the adductor injury. But after playing in 94 total minutes spanning four games, Kehrer’s adductor issue re-emerged, and he has not featured in a fixture since then. But now, he has made just enough gradual progress from his injury to be deemed ready for in-game action once again.
With Kehrer now available to once again feature with the team, manager Thomas Tuchel will have a versatile player to go with off the bench.
