Video: ‘We’re a Little Sad Tonight’ – Sergio Rico Dicusses Draw to Bordeaux

It was a rare day off for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas with Sergio Rico taking over the reins in net against FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

Despite not having much playing time, Rico didn’t look out of place, considering only one shot from the opposition beat him with the first score against coming from an own goal by Timothée Pembélé.

After the fixture, Rico spoke with PSG TV to discuss the 2-2 draw against Bordeaux and their upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage match against Manchester United FC.

“We’re a little sad tonight. We had started well in the first half. We controlled the match, and in the end, we took this goal, which made us concede the draw,” Rico said. “We wanted to score this third goal to take the three points. We have to turn the page and get back to work to prepare for the important game that awaits us on Wednesday. We will be 100% focused on this game.”
