Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti made his return to action with the team following the long layoff due to injury. He played in over seven minutes of PSG’s UEFA Champions League home group stage fixture against RB Leipzig.
Verratti’s substitution appearance did not get off on the right track early on as he picked up a yellow card within a minute of being on the pitch. But from there, Verratti went on to have a standout showing. He completed four dribble attempts, two tackles and won eight ground duels.
Verratti proved that he is now fit and ready to earn starts with the team.
