To the delight of the Paris Saint-Germain coaching and medical staff, forward Neymar made his return to action with the club during its Ligue 1 fixture against AS Monaco. He suffered an adductor injury last month and had worked since then to get back to action as quickly as possible. He wound up recovering just in time to feature in this key game for the club.
Neymar came off the bench and played in 30 minutes of the contest. He logged 29 touches, one shot on target and three dribbles completed.
PSG officials must be pleased to see the forward back on the pitch after a lengthy break in action.
