PSG followed by holding a minute of silencing in paying tribute to Maradona. Many other clubs across Europe have also held moments of silence before their respective fixtures since news broke of Maradona’s passing on Wednesday.

Many players on both PSG and Bordeaux are certainly playing with a heavy heart today as Maradona was not only an immense talent on the pitch but one who also inspired many around the world.
