Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes got the start for the Argentina National Team in their matchday four of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against the Peru National Team.

Despite the match occurring in Lima, La Albiceleste received two goals in the first 28 minutes of action as they were able to cruise to a 2-0 win. Paredes had a hand in the second goal as his pass split the defenders to help spring Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez for Argentina’s second goal.
