Video: ‘I Think There Is No Good Time To Play These Teams’ – Nkunku on Their Fixture Against PSG

Christopher Nkunku appeared in 78 matches for Paris Saint-Germain after making his way through the capital club’s youth system. However, in search of more playing time, the 22-year-old headed to RB Leipzig.

After playing his former club in the UEFA Champions League semifinal back in August, this time, Nkunku is heading home to try and help his new team pick up three crucial points on matchday three of the competition.

Ahead of Leipzig’s clash with Les Parisiens, Nkunku spoke to the media about playing a PSG squad without Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.

“I think there is no good time to play these teams. You have to approach the match as if Neymar and Kylian were present. I think there are some very good players who can replace them. We must focus on our work and correct what we did not do well in final eight,” Nkunku said.

“A revenge after the defeat in the half? We think about it because we lost. We are a team that plays matches to win. This defeat eliminated us from the competition. It hurt us. We know that we will have to take points against our direct opponents. Paris is one of them. We have seen our mistakes. We will make sure to implement the corrections made by the coach.”
