Despite Cristiano Ronaldo being 35-years-old, the Portugal international continues to play at a high-level. According to Diario AS, with rumblings over his future with Juventus FC as Paris Saint-Germain monitors the situation.
Although Ronaldo will be entering his late 30’s, RMC Sport analyst Eric Di Meco was on Super Moscato Show, where he insisted that the capital club pursuit Ronaldo. Even if it’s for one season, because of the work ethic, he could install into the squad.
Di Meco uses Marco Verratti as an example and how he feels the Italy international was best when Zlatan Ibrahimović was on the team.
“In sporting terms, he is still performing well. And this is an example. We know what is going on in Paris concerning the hygiene of certain guys. Having a guy in the locker room with such high standards doesn’t. It would be priceless,” Di Meco said.
“Remember when Zlatan was around. You never heard of him outside of football. He never made the headlines and was careful about his lifestyle. It worked Littlearound him. Little Verratti went straight when there was Zlatan. A guy like that in the locker room sets an example.”
🗣💬 "Le petit Verratti filait droit quand il y avait Zlatan"
