Paris Saint-Germain continues to be heavily linked with Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen. For one, a recent report last month linked the Danish midfielder to PSG for a possible transfer deal. Now, according to a new report from the Italian-based outlet Il Messaggero, Inter Milan is now reportedly all-in to offloading Eriksen over the upcoming winter transfer window as he is not deemed to be part of manager Antonio Conte’s plans for this season anymore.
The report mentions that Inter is currently looking for a buyer for Eriksen. The club has made recent contact with PSG to discuss a possible swap deal involving Eriksen and midfielder Leandro Paredes. Still, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is currently a roadblock in the negotiations as he had not provided the green light for such a deal to transpire.
With the current standstill in talks between Inter Milan and PSG, the former has elected to look elsewhere for a suitor to take Eriksen and is now zoning in on Real Madrid to possibly be that team.
Tuchel has relied on Paredes for key starts in both UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 play this season. So, it may seem that Tuchel much prefers to keep Paredes for rotational midfield depth. Unless Inter would entertain the possibility of offloading Eriksen to PSG without taking in Paredes, the Italian side may have to end its talks with PSG for the Danish midfielder.
