Paris Saint-Germain continues to be heavily linked with Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen. For one, a report last month linked the Danish midfielder to PSG for a possible transfer deal. Now, a report from the Italian-based outlet Il Messaggero has noted that Inter Milan is all-in to offloading Eriksen over the upcoming winter transfer window because he is not deemed to be a part of manager Antonio Conte’s plans for this season anymore.
The report mentioned that Inter is currently looking for a buyer for Eriksen. The club recently contacted PSG to discuss a possible swap deal involving Eriksen and midfielder Leandro Paredes. However, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is currently a roadblock in the negotiations, as he has not given the green light to this possible deal.
With the current standstill in transfer talks between Inter Milan and PSG, the former has elected to look elsewhere for a suitor to take Eriksen, and it is now zoning in on Real Madrid to possibly be that team.
Tuchel has relied on Paredes in key matches in UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 play this season. So, it may seem that Tuchel prefers to keep Paredes for midfield depth. Unless Inter would entertain the idea of offloading Eriksen to PSG without taking in Paredes, the Italian side may have to put an end to its transfer talks with the Ligue 1 powerhouse.
