Report: Real Madrid Looking To Pay the Minimum for PSG’s Mbappé

By now, every Paris Saint-Germain supporter has read the countless articles about Real Madrid’s obsession with Kylian Mbappé. With the 21-year-old having one more year left on his contract after this season, Los Blancos are looking to strike a deal for him this summer.

There’s part of the capital club fanbase that has come to accept this reality and is looking forward to the large sum of money that the French club would receive in a sale for Mbappé. Les Parisiens would receive a significant transfer fee; however, not as much as some might want.

According to Eurosport Spain (via Foot Mercato), Real Madrid is preparing a bid, but the Spanish club is hoping to pay the minimum to bring Mbappé to Spain.

What’s the minimum amount?

The report suggests that Real Madrid doesn’t want to pay more than €120-million, as they’ll undoubtedly use the coronavirus pandemic to explain why their offer can’t go any higher.

PSG paid €180-million in 2017, so we will see if they decide to sell and not bring back a profit on their investment when they purchased the France international from AS Monaco.
