Report: PSG Viewed Neymar’s Early Return from International Duty With Brazil as an ‘Example of Dedication to the Club’

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar made an early return from international duty with the Brazilian national team due to injury. He is still dealing with an adductor injury and Brazil national team officials not only decided to rule him out from the fixture against Venezuela but also elected to release him early from international duty.

PSG appreciated the Brazilian’s early return, as UOL reports that the club viewed the decision as “an example of dedication to the club.” The report mentions that Neymar’s early return to PSG was his own decision, although the Brazilian national team also had to agree to release the forward early. Neymar is currently back with PSG and as the report also hits on, he is slated to undergo physiotherapy treatment this week for his adductor injury.

This situation contrasts from with Kylian Mbappe and the French national team. Mbappe remains with manager Didier Deschamps’ side and is probable for its UEFA Nations League fixture against Sweden on Tuesday. He is dealing with complications to his hamstring, but he is still with the French national team.

Still, PSG hopes to have both talents fully fit and once again ready to feature with the team soon.
