The winter transfer window is approaching, and 28-year-old attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen, who has not been able to find his footing with Inter Milan, continues to be the subject of some rumors in the Italian press due to his lack of opportunities.

La Gazzetta dello Sport once again took up the idea of a possible exchange with the 26-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes. However, Il Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia) got rid of that potential swap deal to let people know about the Denmark international is likely favoring a Premier League return.

Despite going through a rough patch, a move back to a league he’s familiar with and excelled in is what Eriksen will likely want. Furthermore, it seems as though Arsenal FC and Manchester United FC are also joining Les Parisiens for the Inter midfielder with reported swap deals that could entice the Italian club to move on from Eriksen.

If Eriksen does decide to return to the Premier League, there will be quite a few suitors.
