Report: PSG Joins Arsenal in Interest of Brazilian Forward

Paris Saint-Germain is showing an early interest in current Sao Paulo and Brazilian forward Brenner, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet CalcioMercato.it.

The report lists a multitude of teams that are monitoring the 20-year-old forward, including the likes of Arsenal and Juventus. Brenner currently has two more seasons left in his contract and if any team is seriously considering pursuing the forward, the release clause is currently set at €50 million, per the report.

Brenner has been a top performer for Sao Paulo this season. He has scored six goals in 12 appearances over in the Brasileiro Serie A this season, which includes a score against the current third place side in the league Flamengo. And while Sao Paulo did not qualify for the Copa Libertadores knockout stage, Brenner had quality performances over the group stage and chipped in with three total goal contributions.

If PSG does plan to push and make an attempt to sign Brenner, the club’s sporting director in Leonardo will be sure to compete with several other teams for the possible transfer deal.
