Report: Neymar and Icardi Returned to Training on Wednesday Ahead of Fixture Against AS Monaco

The November international break has come to a completion and Paris Saint-Germain is now looking ahead to its Ligue 1 fixture against AS Monaco later this week. Manager Thomas Tuchel held a training session on Wednesday and both Neymar and Mauro Icardi were there in attendance, according to a report from L’Equipe.

Neymar has been undergoing treatment this week for his adductor injury. The Brazilian reportedly is now not feeling pain anymore. Still, Neymar did not take part in the collective training session with the rest of his teammates but rather trained separately.

On the other hand, Icardi dealt with a knee injury over the past month. He has trained as of late but this session, in particular, was a positive step in the right direction as he took part in the scheduled collective training session.

It still has not yet been determined whether PSG will plan to play both talents for its upcoming fixture against Monaco. But the fact that both players trained today is a good sign of their possible availability this week.
