Before fully diving into the football world, Jordan Brand already manufactures basketball and American football jerseys. When the opportunity came to have its logo on a kit worn by Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé, it seemed like a no brainer to enter the manufacturing world of football.
The predominately basketball brand partnered with Paris Saint-Germain in 2018 as the predominant basketball brand wanted to dip their toes into the football kit manufacturing world. Since becoming partners with the capital club, Jordan is the manufacturer of PSG’s third kit, but that all could change starting next season.
According to Footy Headlines, Jordan, which Nike owns, will manufacture the 2021-22 home kit for Les Parisiens, a first in the partnership. There’s no leak on what a potential home kit made by Jordan will look like, but Footy Headlines does add that the color scheme will use the midnight navy, university red, and white.
