Report: Brazilian National Team Remains Optimistic Over Neymar’s Recovery from Injury

Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazilian national team may soon be in a tug of war regarding Neymar’s injury. The Brazilian forward recently suffered an adductor injury that has ruled him out of in-game action until the start of the November international break. Ideally, PSG likely would prefer Neymar to continue to recover from the injury over the break, but the Brazilian national team may have other plans in mind.

The Brazilian national team is hoping that Neymar makes rapid progress from his injury, according to a report from Terra. Brazil has not been holding up as its medical department reached out to both PSG and Neymar for further clarification regarding his injury, per the report.

From PSG’s stance, the club is all-in to having Neymar sit out Brazil’s pair of international fixtures later this month. Over the October international break, the report mentions that Neymar returned worn out and tired, which is why he wound up missing PSG’s fixture against Nimes Olympique.

For the moment, Neymar is still in Brazil’s squad list for this month’s international fixtures. PSG has not recently provided another update on Neymar’s condition, so both sides will simply have to wait and see just how well Neymar progresses from his injury over the next couple of days.
