Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has carried over his strong momentum from last season into the ongoing campaign. The French forward entered PSG’s recent Ligue 1 away fixture against Nantes with nine goal contributions recorded over five matches played this season, which led the team. He wound up adding two more goal contributions to his season tally during PSG’s win over Nantes thanks to both an assist to Ander Herrera and a penalty goal.

Mbappe currently leads Ligue 1 in goals with seven. He has also recorded four assists so far this season, which ranks behind Olympique de Marseille talent Florian Thauvin for the league lead. Overall, Mbappe currently leads Ligue 1 in goal contributions with 11.
Overall, Mbappe is on par to log career highs in both goals and assists in Ligue 1 play this season.
