Kean Has Already Scored More Goals With PSG Than he Did While at Everton

Moise Kean has already surpassed expectations with Paris Saint-Germain this season. The Italian forward arrived at PSG last month with more questions than answers as to just how he would fit in. But in just a short amount of matches, Kean is already silencing doubters.

Kean has scored five goals in seven matches in all competitions with PSG this season. He has already scored league goals in two different games and logged a double in a UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Overall, Kean’s five goals with PSG this season is already more than what he notched with Everton — and in far fewer games as well.

Kean scored two goals over 33 appearances in all competitions last season while at Everton with both scores coming in the Premier League. Kean went on to score two goals earlier this season in the EFL Cup competition before being loaned off to PSG.

This sure is a positive sign for both PSG and Everton to see Kean performing at a promising level. For PSG, Kean has filled in nicely at the center forward position in the absence of the injured Mauro Icardi. And as Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti recently touched on, Kean will be returning to Everton next season after his current one-season loan stint is up, which will then provide the club with more depth upfront.
