Video: Thomas Tuchel on PSG Putting Away Their Scoring Chances Against Angers, Presnel Kimpembe, and Transfer Window

After Paris Saint-Germain’s 6-1 victory over Angers SCO, manager Thomas Tuchel spoke with Téléfoot La Chaîne to provide his thoughts on the win as they head into the international break.

Tuchel talked about the improvement in putting away their scoring opportunities after missing chances last week against Stade de Reims.

“Yes I was frustrated with our efficiency in Reims,” Tuchel said. “Today we still got a lot of chances but the efficiency was there and we scored a lot of goals and that is the best thing. We had a good game with a great victory. It gives us a lot of confidence.”

The German manager then provided some praise for Presnel Kimpembe.

“He’s very strong. Before, on matches that were a little more “normal”, he lacked concentration,” Tuchel said. “He has passed a milestone at this level. He’s doing a big thing at the start of the season.”

Finally, Tuchel discussed the summer transfer window, which closes in a few days, and is waiting to see what the club decides to do before Monday.

“We will wait, I have already spoken a lot about these things. When I speak, I always give my opinion honestly,” Tuchel said. “We will always believe that we will achieve great things, but I have to give my opinion. We will wait but we push.
