Video: ‘That’s Why I Don’t Read What People Write About Me’ – Tuchel Becomes Agitated With Media During Press Conference

The 2-1 loss to Manchester United FC continues to follow Paris Saint-Germain. When speaking with the media, manager Thomas Tuchel had to address the defeat where Canal Supporters relayed his words ahead of their match against Dijon FCO.

The capital club manager became agitated with the French football media to the fact that he conducted part of his answer over the loss to The Red Devils in English as a way of perhaps sticking to the media before transitioning back to French.

“We have discussions after each match. It’s a normal process. Losing is not normal. We hate it, and we don’t want it to start to be a habit. We have to show a reaction. We will have a team that is still transformed. The goal is to stay positive. Everyone is expecting an easy 6-0, but you can’t think of it like that. But I’m sure we’ll show a reaction,” Tuchel said.

“We played 5 serious matches. We won 5 consecutive matches. We lost a match. We will not accept. The defeat? It’s my responsibility. I can live with it. That’s why I don’t read what people write about me, that I don’t google my name. I don’t expect anything else. I know that I can rely on myself, my staff, and my relationship with the team. It’s impossible to find people more affected than us by the defeat.”
