Paris Saint-Germain dominated the first 20 minutes of the match against Manchester United but went down a goal in the 23rd minute thanks to a Bruno Fernandes penalty kick.

It was Abdou Diallo who supposedly gave up the penalty kick by fouling Anthony Martial in the box but as you can see in the video above, it was v e r y soft. I mean, if this was Neymar Jr., you can imagine all of the United fans screaming at their TV’s with their faces bright red.
Imagine the reaction from Fletcher and McManaman if that soft foul was won by Neymar or De Gea had been two inches off the goal line when saving a PSG kick. It certainly wouldn't be 'clear as day'

This is nothing new though. Manchester United were awarded a very soft penalty in 2019 that ended up giving them the 3-1 win over PSG at the Parc des Princes to secure their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League that season.
To make matters worse, Keylor Navas actually saved the initial penalty shot but the ref was determined to put PSG down a goal and claimed Navas came off his line. Fernandes stepped up once again and converted.
La faute sur Martial n'était pas évidente. L'arbitre siffle pénalty. Fernandes rate son pénalty, stoppé….mais Keylor Navas avait quitté sa ligne de but avant le tir.
On doit tirer à nouveau…

There’s still plenty of time left for Les Parisiens to mount a comeback and with Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr., anything is possible.
