It took just three matches for Mauro Icardi to get on the scoresheet with Paris Saint-Germain, as he scored against Galatasaray in a UEFA Champions League group stage fixture one year ago today.
The score was a collective team effort, as four PSG players contributed to the goal sequence. In the end, the Argentine scored a simple tap-in goal thanks to an assist from Pablo Sarabia. The goal gave PSG a 1-0 lead in the contest, which also turned out to be the game-winner.
Overall, Icardi has scored 22 goals in all competitions for PSG. Club supporters are hoping that this can be just the start of what could possibly be a stout overall run for the forward with PSG.
