French national team manager Didier Deschamps picked Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe to start in the team’s UEFA Nations League clash against Portugal.
Kimpembe helped keep a clean sheet for France against Portugal, as the game finished in a 0-0 draw. The PSG defender recorded a team-high seven clearances and two interceptions in the match.

Next up for France is another key Nations League group stage fixture against Croatia later this week. France needs a win in this contest in order to keep its hopes alive of clinching a spot in the Nations League knockout stage.
