In Paris Saint-Germain’s 6-1 victory over Angers SCO, one of the six goals that the capital club scored will be on a 2020-21 Ligue 1 highlight reel as Alessandro Florenzi scored on a magnificent volley to open up the scoring.
After the match, Florenzi spoke with PSG TV to discuss his first goal in a PSG kit, which turned out to be a memorable one for the 29-year-old, but he also touched on the performance from the entire squad that led to the win.
“It was a great goal, a great volley,” Florenzi said. “But above all, I’m very happy with the performance of the whole team. We performed well. We deserved the victory. I am very happy.”
