Edinson Cavani joined Manchester United FC on the final day of the summer transfer window. After a couple of months of speculation and talking with other clubs around Europe, he finally decided on a team.
By choosing The Red Devils, Cavani will quickly have his return to the Parc des Prince as United will travel to Paris to take on PSG as the group stage of the UEFA Champions League begins.
Cavani spoke with United’s website about returning to face his former club.
“Yes that’s life isn’t it, I thought it was just fate and how things can be. It’s just amazing, things always happen for a reason, and sometimes in the most incredible way,” Cavani said. “So now it’s my turn to experience one of those types of moments that you could never imagine happening, and when you look back they really do. But it will be a great feeling and a great experience and it’s something I’m very happy about.”
