Riyad Mahrez is an essential player in the Manchester City FC squad, and for a long time, the rumor has spread that this player has been in the sights of the capital club.
When Mahrez was growing up, he was a fan of Olympique de Marseille. One fellow teammate on City, Benjamin Mendy, questioned Mahrez on whether he could ever head home to Paris and join Les Parisiens in the future. The Algeria international accepted the idea of playing for PSG during an interview with Canal Football Club.
“It’s true that I was a supporter of Marseille when I was little. Afterward, it is not topical, because I am still under contract in Manchester, and I am well, but Paris is my city. I grew up in Paris, I was born in Paris, so you never know,” Mahrez said. ” I could have gone to play in Marseille, and I can still go and play in Marseille. You never know in life. No door should be closed.”
