In the final stretch of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain seemed to speed up their movements and their strategy by managing to add two players on loan in Moise Kean from Everton FC and Danilo Pereira from FC Porto.
On L’Équipe du Soir (via Canal Supporters), Dave Appadoo made it known that he’s a fan of Pereira’s addition because they finally bring in someone that is a number six. Furthermore, they don’t have to put Marquinhos into that role anymore.
“Danilo above all, because he is called upon to play a real role. He’s a real defensive midfielder, a real six. He is really a solid person in front of the defense. And often Paris, in his search for the environment, he took relay runners whom he reconverted. We are talking about this player who has a huge impact and presence,” Appadoo said.
“Moise Kean, it’s more to get into a rotation. He is a young player, who is yet to be developed. He was very promising at Juve but when he left on loan at Everton it was more complicated even though the Premier League is not a straightforward league either.”
