Alessandro Florenzi arrived at Paris Saint-Germain a few weeks ago and recently spoke with the media about his arrival ahead of the capital club’s match against Angers SCO.
The 29-year-old discussed his bond with his Italian countryman Marco Verratti and gave his opinion on the squad. According to the right-back, his compatriot Verratti, is a significant reference for him, since they come from Italy, and mentioning that the friendship between the two is a supportive one.
Florenzi then states that he is happy to live in a city like Paris because it’s a destination he only frequented him on vacation, and now it will become his place of residence.
As for his teammates, he mentioned that he is proud because Neymar and Mbappé are among the world’s best. Florenzi adds that they have Ángel Di María, Mauro Icardi, Marquinhos, Verratti, and the other players, who he also considers very good.
Finally, he emphasizes that the team’s goal is to regain first place in Ligue 1.
