Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé are under contract until 2022, but this upcoming summer is a significant one for Paris Saint-Germain as they decide what to do with their two superstars.
There’s no question that supporters will want to see both remain in Paris, but according to Le Parisien, the days of both wearing the capital club colors are slowly coming to an end.
Mbappé seems to be the player that Les Parisiens are focusing on in an attempt to extend his contract, but thus far, it’s a difficult task.
The French media outlet states that there’s little chance for a contract extension between PSG and Mbappé’s entourage, especially with Real Madrid lurking. Le Parisien also adds that the 21-year-old wants to move on from the level of Ligue 1 as he’s beginning to feel cramped in French football.
On the other hand, Neymar seems the most likely of the two to extend their contracts as there’s no club looking to try and pry him away from PSG. Nonetheless, both parties have yet to meet at the negotiating table to discuss an extension.
