Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos made another appearance in training with the club on Monday, according to a report from Telefoot‘s Saber Desfarges.
Marquinhos is still recovering from an injury that he suffered over the recent international break while with the Brazilian national team. The new PSG team captain returned to the club last week and subsequently missed the team’s away league fixture against Nimes Olympique due to a right adductor injury. PSG did not deem Marquinhos’ injury to be a long-term serious one as the defender wound up soon returning to training with the team after the fixture.
As per the report, PSG still currently rules Marquinhos as a doubt for the team’s key UEFA Champions League group stage fixture against Manchester United. PSG will decide on whether Marquinhos will be fit and available to feature for the contest tomorrow ahead of the contest. Still, Marquinhos should be ready to at the least play in PSG’s upcoming home league fixture against Dijon.
