Report: Kehrer Set to be Available for PSG’s Champions League Fixture Against Basaksehir

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer has been out of action for the past month due to a right adductor injury. However, the German defender has made significant progress from his injury as of late. He did recently make a return to training with the club last week. Now, as Le Parisien reports, Kehrer is set to be in PSG’s Champions League squad list for its upcoming fixture against Istanbul Basaksehir.

The report mentions that Kehrer has fully recovered from his adductor injury. His recovery progress helped in rehabbing the injury over the past month. Still, Kehrer is not slated to start for PSG in this contest, as Alessandro Florenzi will likely continue to take hold of the right-back position for the club. At the least, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel will now likely have Kehrer as an option off the bench.

For a team that has been dealing with depth issues as of late, the return of Kehrer to PSG should be a major sigh of relief for the coaching staff.
