Report: Italian Club Is Set To Steal PSG Transfer Target

Plenty of Paris Saint-Germain supporters are already upset at capital club sporting director Leonardo for the lack of additions to the squad to improve it and make another run at a UEFA Champions League final.

One track that many thought would come to fruition is Les Parisien’s pursuit of Chelsea FC midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko. However, the possible addition of the 26-year-old is beginning to slip away from the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

According to sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Bakayoko is inching closer to a Serie A return. This time, he will be heading to Napoli and reunite with manager Gennaro Gattuso, who managed him while at AC Milan.

Di Marzio adds that Bakayoko could take his medical over the weekend if an agreement is reached between the Italian and English clubs. Losing out on Bakayoko could be a blow to PSG, who is limited with their funds, but wants to add depth and height to the midfield.
