Report: Getafe Keeping Tabs on PSG Forward Jese

La Liga side Getafe is exploring the possibility of signing current Paris Saint-Germain forward Jese Rodriguez on a possible transfer deal, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Marca (via Le10Sport).

The report mentions that Getafe is simply keeping tabs on Jese’s situation with PSG. The Spanish forward is set to become a free agent next year. It is unclear whether Getafe would attempt to sign Jese over the upcoming winter transfer window or simply go out and sign the talent on a free transfer next year.

Jese stayed on with PSG after the recent summer transfer window closed last week. Several teams inquired on possibly signing him, including La Liga side Elche. According to a report from the Spanish-based station Onda Cero, Elche showed interest in signing Jese during the transfer window, but no deal with PSG came to fruition.

It is inevitable that this is Jese’s final season with PSG. The dilemma between both sides is just a matter of whether he will depart in a couple of months over the winter window or leave for free next year.
