For months, Paris Saint-Germain has been heavily linked with current Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen. The club showed interest in Eriksen over the recent summer transfer window and is now reportedly aiming to keep tabs on the talent over the upcoming winter window. But now, one La Liga side may pose to be a competitor to PSG for the creative midfielder.
Atletico Madrid is showing interest in signing Eriksen, according to a report from CalcioMercato (via Le10Sport). The report mentions that Atletico is simply interested in Eriksen as it remains unknown whether the Spanish side is seeking to push for such a deal over the upcoming winter window or will wait just a bit longer to acquire him.
Inter Milan would likely be open to a bidding war between the two sides. Eriksen has been rumored to be open to a departure from the club after just a year, so at the least for Inter, the club would likely prefer to receive a favorable transfer fee if he leaves on a transfer move.
