Official Lineup: Rafinha and Kean Set to Make Debuts for PSG in Fixture Against Nimes

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel is dealing with yet another crucial test this season, as the club is facing a significant injury crisis. Tuchel ruled out 10 players for the fixture against Nimes Olympique, including team captain Marquinhos. Still, Tuchel is fielding a prominent starting 11 for the contest in hopes of extending the team’s current winning streak.

Tuchel is rolling with a 4-3-3 setup for this fixture. As expected, goalkeeper, Keylor Navas is set to make yet another start for the club in Ligue 1 play.

As mentioned, team captain Marquinhos will not play in this contest due to a thigh injury that he suffered over the international break.

Overall, Alessandro Florenzi and Mitchel Bakker also returned from the international break and will start in today’s league match.

In the midfield, PSG is currently without Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler due to injuries. As a result, Rafinha is in the starting 11 and will make his first appearance for the club since joining from FC Barcelona on transfer deadline day.

In the attack, Angel Di Maria is not available to play in this fixture due to his suspension, while Mauro Icardi has a minor injury. Neymar is also unavailable to play against Nimes, as he just recently returned from international duty with Brazil. But for Tuchel, the good news is that Moise Kean will make his PSG debut in this league matchup.

If PSG can pick up a win over Nimes even as it deals with its current injury crisis, it sure will say much about the depth that the club currently boasts.
