Official Lineup: Marquinhos Makes Return to PSG’s Starting 11 for Ligue 1 Fixture Against Dijon

Following the recent disappointing loss to Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain is now back in action with the hopes of bouncing back from the lowly performance. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel elected to go with a relatively formidable starting 11 for the team’s home league fixture against Dijon.

Even with PSG slated to return to Champions League action again this week, Tuchel wound up picking a few regular starters for this contest. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas is taking the day off, as Tuchel is going with Sergio Rico to start against Dijon.

In the backline, Alessandro Florenzi and Presnel Kimpembe each did not earn a start, as Tuchel is hoping to rest the pair amid the heavy congestion in fixtures. At the least, Marquinhos is back and ready to make his first appearance for the club in several weeks.

After his impressive start last week against Nimes Olympique, Rafinha is back starting for PSG. The Brazilian midfielder will be paired alongside new signee Danilo Pereira and Julian Draxler.

Tuchel has shaken up the team’s attack once again due to the absences of Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria. The German manager decided to also rest forward Kylian Mbappe a bit, as he is on the bench to begin to contest. Thus, Neymar will have a hefty duty in leading PSG’s attack alongside Moise Kean and Pablo Sarabia.

PSG will be aiming to make it six league wins in a row.
