Navas Hopes to Finish Career With PSG

When Paris Saint-Germain signed Keylor Navas from Real Madrid last year, there were high expectations for him to become the team’s long-term solution at the goalkeeper position. Navas has so far met the expectations thanks to his strong play in all competitions for the club, including in last season’s UEFA Champions League knockout stage.

Not only is PSG very likely well-pleased with Navas, but the Costa Rican goalkeeper is also enjoying his tenure with the club so far. More so, Navas sees that this is the club that he wants to end his career with.

In an interview with the French-based outlet Telefoot (via AS), Navas explained why he hopes to finish off his career at PSG.

“If it is possible for me to finish my career in Paris, yes,” Navas said. “When I arrived in Paris I discovered a different place, the city surprised me. It’s not that I was thinking wrong, but I didn’t know. I don’t know what I was going to find there. People have been lovely to me from day one, very respectful. So I give myself 100% every day. I’m very happy to be here.”

Navas has three seasons left on his current contract.
