Kehrer Returned to Training With PSG on Thursday Ahead of Fixture Against Dijon

Paris Saint-Germain received promising news ahead of its league fixture against Dijon as defender Thilo Kehrer made his long-awaited return to training on Thursday.

Kehrer has been dealing with a right adductor injury for the past month. He last featured for the club in its 1-0 loss to Olympique Marseille.

The injury came at an unfortunate time for Kehrer as new signee Alessandro Florenzi has taken over the right-back role for PSG manager Thomas Tuchel. Florenzi is currently one of PSG’s top performers in league play and will likely continue to hold down the starting role even when Kehrer returns to the club. While Florenzi is currently the starting right-back, Tuchel could possibly use Kehrer at the center-back position as well.

Still, Kehrer is not projected to be picked for PSG’s squad list against Dijon. The German defender will continue to rehab his injury in order to be fully fit to feature with the club.
