Paris Saint-Germain forward Moise Kean was the club’s top performer in its key UEFA Champions League win against Istanbul Basaksehir. The Italian forward scored a couple of goals to clinch a 2-0 win for PSG.
Kean’s standout performance has earned him a nomination for the Champions League player of the week award, which spotlights the top performer in this week’s action of European games.

Three other players are up for this honor, including current Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata following his brace against Ajax.
Kean is currently in top form with four key goals in his last two games for the club. At this rate, he may be in line to earn another start for the club in its upcoming league fixture against Nantes. And even if forward Mauro Icardi makes his return from injury soon, Kean likely will continue to regularly start for manager Thomas Tuchel’s side if he can string more strong performances.
