Former FC Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o attended a Gala for La Liga Ambassadors. During this event, the Cameroon international decided to offer some advice to Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé.
As many already know, the 21-year-old’s contract will expire in 2022, leading to rumors of a potential move to Real Madrid this summer. The capital club will want a hefty transfer fee from Los Blancos if they cannot extend Mbappé’s contract.
The Barcelona ambassador spoke with TUTTOmercatoWEB, where Eto’o stated that instead of heading to Real Madrid that he should join a different Spanish club.
“Instead of Real Madrid, Mbappé must go to Barça,” Eto’o said.
Never has the Catalan club ever shown any interest in the France international considering the only time they’ve been linked to a PSG player it’s Neymar Jr., who they’re still waiting to return to Spain.
Despite Eto’o calling for Mbappé to head Barça, if he does indeed leave Paris for Spain, it will only be for Los Blancos.
