Icardi Ruled out for PSG’s Ligue 1 Fixture Against Nantes

Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi is continuing to make promising progress from his knee injury. The Argentine recently returned to individual training earlier this week and finished the session without any serious setbacks. However, he is still not ready to feature with in-game action as PSG has ruled him out (via Le Parisien) for its upcoming league fixture against Nantes.

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel explained further during a recent press conference ahead of the team’s fixture against Nantes that Icardi is currently still training with the team. PSG wants to be cautious with his recovery and will only clear the forward for in-game action once he has fully recovered from the injury.

The same applies to midfielder Leandro Paredes. The Argentine did also recently return to individual training and is slated to soon make a comeback to feature with the team.

At the least, PSG is making a comeback from its October injury crisis.
