Palmeiras defender Gabriel Menino has become one of the most talked-about prospects in the Brasileiro Serie A. Just over this season, Menino has totaled for 27 appearances in all competitions for Palmeiras. He also helped his side in clinching a spot in the Copa Libertadores knockout stage. The defender’s strong performances as of late for his club also just recently earned him a call-up to the Brazilian national team for November international fixtures.
Menino is now already looking ahead to his next possible destination. With a promising talent like he is, Menino is sure to soon receive interest from multiple top European clubs. He already has in mind which teams he would be interested in joining and in speaking to the Brazilian-based sports show Expediente Futebol, he mentioned three sides, in particular, that has his intrigue.
“I dream of playing in Europe,” Menino said. “I don’t want to stay a year and come back, I want to build a story. I want to play for Barcelona, PSG, with Neymar, Real Madrid, the big ones.”
PSG sure has a lengthy history of signing promising Brazilian talents. The club is not currently in dire need of a midfielder, but still, this is a club that could always use some more depth over at the position.
