With the summer transfer window now closed, some clubs are already looking ahead to next year’s window. Multiple clubs may be looking to splash on high-priced, world-class talents. For one, Real Madrid has been rumored to go all out next year to revamp its squad, and one player who continues to be linked with the side is Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
Many of Mbappe’s PSG teammates sure hope that the forward will not leave for Real Madrid next year. For one, PSG midfielder Ander Herrera is already voicing his support for Mbappe to stay on with PSG.
In speaking to the Spanish-based station Cadena Ser (via Mundo Deportivo), Herrera shared a straightforward opinion on this matter.
“I hope he does not go to Real Madrid next year,” Herrera said. “Starting from the left and facing it is impossible to stop him.”
Mbappe is slated to become a free agent in two seasons. PSG sure hopes to soon renew his contract and end any speculation about his future with the club. But until he signs a new deal, rumors and speculation will continue to circulate on whether Mbappe wants to stay with PSG.
