French Media Outlet Suggest That PSG Sporting Director Continues To Want Former Juventus Manager

As many already know, Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo didn’t hire manager Thomas Tuchel. The recent war of words between both men is making many wonder about the future of Tuchel, who has one year left on his contract.

When new management takes over, they usually want to bring in their manager that they can work with and be on the same page because Leonardo and Tuchel are from being in-sync about what additions the squad needs.

As a result, L’Équipe reports that the Brazilian is keen on bringing former Juventus FC manager Massimiliano Allegri. After the capital club lost the UEFA Champions League final, reports surfaced over a PSG, potentially hiring the Italian manager. Nonetheless, nothing occurred.

With Leonardo’s close ties to Serie A, it’s no surprise that he wants Allegri. Still, if he decides to wait until after Tuchel’s contract runs out, he could miss out on Allegri if an Italian club that’s struggling garner his attention.

It will be interesting to see how these recent developments give Leonardo an itchy finger to fire Tuchel.
