Paris Saint-Germain defender Mitchel Bakker has carried over his current impressive form to his run with the Netherlands U21 team. He featured for the side on Thursday against Gibraltar U21 in a 2021 UEFA Euro U21 qualifying contest. The PSG talent started out at left-back for the team and wound up being one of the top performers in the contest.
Bakker recorded two assists in the fixture. In the opening half, Bakker doubled the lead for Netherlands U21 with an aerial ball over to AZ Alkmaar prospect Dani de Wit to put the team up 2-0.

Netherlands U21 recorded a comfortable 5-0 win over Gibraltar U21. The win helped keep Netherlands U21 in the first in Group 7 of its Euro U21 qualifying group.
For Bakker, the left-back finished the contest with two assists, 73 passes completed and six goal-scoring chances created.
