After departing FC Barcelona’s La Masia’s academy, Xavi Simons is one of the crown jewels for the Paris Saint-Germain youth system. The 17-year-old was in the starting eleven for the under-19 squad where they faced Le Havre.
Despite being disappointed with the 2-2 result and not getting the win, Simons showed happiness for the opening goal that he scored off a free-kick. It’s a goal that Neymar Jr. and Ángel Di María will be proud of for the teenager.
Happy with my goal and assist, but disappointed we couldn’t get the W today.
The work continues! 💪🏾🔥 pic.twitter.com/GRmcTmP7pZ
