Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly making Chelsea FC midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko their top priority.
The 26-year-old fills two needs for the capital club. At 6′ 2″, the Parisian brings the height that PSG sporting director Leonardo wants, and Bakayoko can potentially fill the defensive midfield role.
Although the move might make sense to some, it’s not a move that makes sense to RMC Sport analyst Jean-Michel Larqué, who made an appearance on “Top of the Foot” where the panel discussed a potential transfer of Bakayoko.
“I do not see what the added value of the Bakayoko arrival would be,” Larqué said. “I am not sure that it is a reinforcement to cross a threshold.”
🗣💬 "Je ne vois pas ce que serait la plus-value de l'arrivée Bakayoko. Je ne suis pas certain que ce soit un renfort pour franchir un palier"
