After Paris Saint-Germain fell to FC Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final, plenty of Olympique de Marseille players and supporters were dancing on the capital club’s misfortunes.

One of these players was Dimitri Payet, who tweeted a video trolling PSG after their loss to Bayern Munich. The 33-year-old played to his supporters while infuriating those who support Les Parisiens

In his press conference, Payet elaborated on his tweet, and for the most part, the France international doubled down on what he tweeted.

“It’s not a story; it’s a tweet that made me laugh a lot. I reposted this GIF. Before, we complained because the players were talking bad stuff. When we spoof now, we say it’s the buzz. Me, that made me laugh a lot. There is no story. I do not regret, it is fair game. I remember one of our matches in Limassol in the Europa League, where the official PSG website made a tweet,” Payet said.

“Between enemies, we chase each other over. I do not regret, and it does not pressure me. A great Payet after his rooming? I don’t wait to go out to get ready to play good matches. It’s an important match for us, against Paris. Obviously, I prepared myself to give the best.”

Also, Payet touched on the PSG squad they’ll face and doesn’t think they’ll play as they did in their 1-0 loss to RC Lens.

“PSG still have high-quality players; it will remain a complicated game. We will have players back in front. It will be our second away game in a row, regardless of which players they miss,” Payet said. “As their coach had said, you couldn’t expect much from their match against Lens. We should not learn from this match because they will not play like that against us.”
