Video: Pauleta’s Strike Against Marseille in 2004 Voted Best Goal in PSG’s History

Paris Saint-Germain is celebrating its 50th anniversary by publishing a 200-page magazine that allows any Les Parisien supporters to learn about the capital club’s history.

There was a recent vote to find out some of the more memorable moments in PSG’s history, and one of the categories was the best goal. Some of the candidates were Pedro Pauleta’s goal against Olympique de Marseille in 2004, George Weah’s goal against FC Bayern Munich in 1994, and David Ginola’s goal against Real Madrid in 1993.

Ultimately, Pauleta’s goal in Le Classique, where he caught Marseille goalkeeper Fabien Barthez out of position and shot it from a difficult angle was voted for the best goal in club history.
